Challenge
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority needed to replace its outdated human resources system in order to improve accuracy, strengthen compliance, and provide a more efficient experience for employees and administrators. The new HRIS required skilled project leadership, coordinated work across multiple departments, and careful management of system requirements, employee data, and security needs.
Approach
CSS served as the lead project manager for the implementation of the UKG Ready Human Resources Information System. Acting as the central liaison between JTA and UKG, CSS managed the entire project lifecycle which included data migration, configuration, testing, training, and preparation for go live. CSS coordinated the integration of timekeeping, employee records, benefits, and compliance modules and ensured that each function aligned with JTA’s operational and regulatory needs. To support adoption, CSS delivered training for more than seven hundred employees and developed standard operating procedures, user guides, and internal reference materials.
Outcome
The implementation created a fully modernized HRIS environment that improved data accuracy, strengthened compliance practices, and increased efficiency in human capital management. Employees gained access to enhanced self service tools, onboarding processes became more consistent, and administrative effort decreased across departments.
Proof
Through structured project management, consistent communication, and close coordination with UKG consultants and internal teams, CSS delivered a successful HRIS transformation that provided JTA with scalable and reliable technology to support long term workforce management and operational efficiency.
